About Me

What you should know about me…

I’m a Toronto native who previously had 5 years of traditional and digital marketing experience in a variety of industries (including telecommunications, automotive, retail, etc.) after graduating from university.

In 2011, I received my degree in Marketing with honours from the illustrious HBCU, Hampton University, in Hampton, Virginia. While there, I was a part of the Lady Pirates Women’s Tennis Team (NCAA D1). In 2015, to jumpstart my current career, I enrolled in the Accelerated Law Clerk program at Seneca College in Toronto, Canada and received my diploma with honours in 2016.

From there, I briefly worked as a legal assistant in Employment and Labour Law and Litigation, before beginning my career in US Immigration. From 2017-2019, I worked for the Immigration Law Firm affiliated with Deloitte Canada in the progressively responsible roles of Analyst, Immigration (Mail Team followed by Initiations) and Analyst, Immigration Case Management.

In October 2019, I began working at EY Law LLP, affiliated with Ernst & Young LLP in Canada. For the past few years, I have progressed from Staff Law Clerk to Senior Law Clerk to Supervising Senior Law Clerk. I have the privilege of serving our private clients practice in various areas such as case management, client transitions as well as program management, training and mentorship for my service team.

Outside of my professional life, I enjoy continuing to play tennis. I am also an avid watcher of sports of all kind (football, basketball, gymnastics, etc.). I am a hip-hop fan through and through. I love to travel and hope to make it to my bucket list destinations: Zanzibar, Maldives, Brazil, Portugal, Mallorca, etc.
